Chan plays a Hong Kong detective who confiscates millions of dollars worth of artifacts from Crime Lord Jentao. In revenge, Jentao kidnaps the 11 year old daughter of the Chinese consul on his way to America. Chan is sent over to America to assist LAPD detective Tucker to find the daughter. This was a huge box office hit in the States. Whether or not you'll like this film probably depends on whether or not you like Tucker. You may remember him as the annoying DJ in The Fifth Element. If you think he's funny, then great - you'll love this movie; otherwise stay well clear. |
